American Communications Opens Second Logistics and Integration Center in Dallas, Texas
SANTA BARBARA, Calif.—June 24 , 2009 —American Communications, the leading provider of communication network hardware, repair, and infrastructure services, today announced the opening of their newest integration and logistics center in Dallas, Texas. This is the company’s second operating facility to open in the area.
The 40,000 square foot facility is designed to manage multi-vendor component integration services. As part of these services, American Communications can provide complete supply chain management from material forecast planning to order processing and equipment staging. In addition, the new facility will be supported by technicians trained across numerous technologies with the ability to complete product installation and system level testing based on network deployment requirements. With this expanded capability, customers are outsourcing rack and stack projects to American Communications to divert costly set up, labor and infrastructure that are required to complete projects. The additional location will also supplement the primary logistics center’s shipping, receiving, and warehousing efforts.
“We continue to experience a strong demand in equipment and infrastructure services,” explains Phil Grace, CEO of American Communications. “This additional location will support the expansion of our rack and stack offerings while helping to guarantee our customers just in time delivery of top-quality telecommunication network equipment.”
American Communications’ new logistics and integrations center is now fully operational. American Communications has one of the nation’s largest inventory of network hardware, including routers, switches, access servers, wireless, security, content and storage units. All equipment is fully inspected by experienced technicians and comes with a warranty.
