MOTOW14 Canopy Team Up
SANTA BARBARA, Calif.—August
9, 2007—American Communications announced today a partnership
with Motorola’s MOTOwi4 Canopy division. The partnership offers
customer’s the ability to trade-in legacy and idle equipment
and earn credit towards the purchase of new Motorola MOTOwi4 Canopy
equipment.
American Communications will manage and execute all details of the
program for Motorola at its sales and operation center in Dallas,
TX, including logistics, inventory management and storage, customer
relations, and order processing. Motorola MOTOwi4, in conjunction
with American Communications, will provide a credit to be used toward
the purchase of new MOTOwi4 Canopy equipment.
The partnership allows customers to maintain, upgrade and expand
their network and service offerings through this cost-effective
solution. Customers nationwide are already taking advantage of the
savings created by the partnership.
“The unprecedented partnership shown between Motorola...and
American Communications provided ZeeCon Wireless with a positive,
and profitable, path forward to jump start our migration. As our
legacy network continues to age, Motorola’s Canopy solution
is our foundation of choice for the future. The Motorola MOTOwi4
Canopy trade-in program not only provides us with the means to a
secure, stable network, it also illustrates the dedication of Motorola’s
partners as well as Motorola’s belief in the quality of their
products,” said Josh Parker, General Manager at ZeeCon Wireless
Internet LLC.
The partnership began as the result of a previously successful trade-in
program between American Communications and Motorola.
