This position will be the point person for American Communications' Service offerings and will be responsible for providing customer, market and product feedback to assist the sales management team in identifying professional services opportunities. In addition to managing the prospecting, qualification and transacting of purchases and sales of a wide variety of network infrastructure support services, the sales representative will handle all aspects of customer requirements analysis, market and product line assessment, and forecasting.

Services Project Coordinator
As our Services Division continues to expand, we need a Services Project Coordinator to be our office point of contact for all field service team members. This person will oversee and coordinate the logistics for the deployment of our field services team, ensure that team members are efficient in the field and mitigate downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
• Arrange for shipments of equipment or supplies to the field services members from the office
• Submit approved per diem advance forms for scheduled team members
• Coordinates with other departments and travel agencies in responding to inquiries regarding travel requests, scheduling all travel arrangements for services team members, resolve any issues or concerns
• Maintains open and cleared travel documents on projects, ensures that canceled tickets are credited or utilized on subsequent travel
• Update travel profiles as necessary
• Maintain non-refundable air ticket log
• Track monthly air and non-air accruals
• Processes and tracks reimbursements
• Receives expense report receipts, reviews and submits expense reimbursement or vouchering reports related to travel; verifies appropriate documentation in compliance with company policy; ensures accuracy of vouchers in accounting for traveler advances or prepaid expenses
• Review and approves travel expenditures after initial processing of travel related documents; prepares correspondence to company travelers regarding travel related issues for the supervisor's review and approval
• Complete monthly reconciliation of travel clearing account; monitors travel expense report due dates in accordance with company policies/procedures; performs follow-up procedures to ensure timely receipt by the Finance Department
• Obtain all signed timesheets from field services team members and obtain proper supervisor approvals to ensure that approved timesheets are submitted to HR by timesheet due date
• Daily maintain the Field Services Team Scheduler excel worksheet, to ensure that resource utilization is current
• Enter all information into Project Costing application to ensure that all project expenses are captured
• Update project trackers daily as to work completed and billed
• Review and distribute project costing reports to Project Managers
• Works under general supervision
• Will interface with our customers on occasion, must demonstrate and ensure customer service as #1 priority through delivery of prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and professional assistance in all client interactions
• Perform inquiries or research to obtain required equipment necessary to perform the services tasks, submit research to supervisor
• Manage expenditures and vendor invoices approvals for filed related expenditures, raise any exceptions or issues to supervisor
Skills/Knowledge Required:
• 5 or more years of professional related experience to assigned function
• Knowledge of the laws, rules and regulations related to Federal and state safety requirements (i.e: OSHA)
• Knowledge of the principles and practices of automated information systems, office procedures and MS Office Suite of Product
• Experience with on-line travel systems preferred

Shipping & Receiving Specialist
If you’re highly motivated, creative, and self-reliant with a “can do” attitude towards your work, than you may be the ideal Receiving/Shipping Specialist (RSS) we’re looking to hire. This exciting position encompasses a variety of receiving and shipping tasks, including purchase order prioritization, inventorying of equipment, receipt of equipment for stock, repair, and testing, order fulfillment, quality review, packaging, palletizing and shipping. You would print, prioritize and complete purchase orders, verify correct items and serial numbers, perform product quality reviews, utilize relative packaging techniques, update orders in system database and ship orders via parcel and alternate shipping carriers.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage inbound shipments for same-day turnaround
• Identification of telecom equipment for quick, accurate receipt
• Act as liaison with Procurement personnel to drive efficiency within receiving process
• Responsible for accurate fulfillment of serialized components
• Utilize proper packaging methods to negate shipping damage
• Determine best method for economical shipment
• Integral role in Continual Process Improvement
Skills/ Requirements
• Minimum 3 years previous Receiving or Shipping experience required
• 3-5 years equivalent work experience in a warehousing environment is preferred
• Knowledge of telecom equipment a major plus
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with an aptitude for numbers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, effectively balancing multiple concurrent assignments
• Handling of moderately heavy objects (20-50 pounds)
• Must have a demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Prior supervisory experience a plus
• Prior experience utilizing MS Great Plains inventory system a plus

Tower Services Technician - Levels I, II, III
If you are ComTrain or equivalent certified, have experience from 1-4 years as a tower climber, and want to work for a stable, growing company, you may be the Tower Services Technician we are looking to hire.
As a Tower Services Technician, you will maximize the profitability of our field projects through effective project management, while continuing to look for areas of improvement on the projects and how we execute. You’ll also be responsible for communicating with customers to ensure that the project is being completed to their satisfaction and to address any customer satisfaction issues or concerns. You will also prepare documentation of time and expenses and promptly provide to your Project Manager weekly.
Skills/Experience Required
• Ability to climb at least a 750’ telecommunications tower and experience with tower rigging
• Current ComTrain or equivalent certification in Tower Climbing Safety and Rescue
• Handle transportation of equipment
• Installation/De-installation of coax line, connectors, antenna and accessories; and perform maintenance on tower equipment
• Demonstrate knowledge of OSHA safety guidelines and practical use of these guidelines as well as all other applicable safety laws and policies
• Advanced in Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Daily reporting of project status and documentation of daily progress, Job Plan, and Job Safety Analysis
• Technical knowledge of wireless telecommunications products preferred
Functional Requirements
• Significant travel is required of more than 70% of the year with typical deployment on a project for 2-3 weeks at a time
• Must be able to lift 80 pounds

Microwave Technician
American Communications knows the importance of maintaining a team of skilled, certified microwave technicians. We are always seeking talented, reliable technicans to add to our team, such as a Microwave Technician to perform installation and testing of various point to point as well as point to multi-point Microwave radio installations. Responsibilities will include design, programming, installation and testing of equipment, installation and termination of Cat 5 cabling, coaxial cabling, grounding, surge arrestors, hardware and software applicable to job.
Technical Requirements:
Applicant must have 5 years experience in design, installation, configuration, commission, integration and maintenance of analog and digital microwave or other radio systems. Design new and/or replacement microwave and RF radio systems to include path calculations, site survey and propagation analysis.
Applicant must have project management experience and the ability to implement and optimize new microwave radio systems.
• Must have capabilities with installation, maintenance, and repair of base systems, repeaters, multiplexers, antenna systems, microwave radio systems, network transmission and dc power systems
• Applicant will be responsible for also performing site surveys, running spectrum analyzers, and compiling data for specified job sites
• Ability to review schematics, building plans and technical documentation is required
• Proficient in using equipment such as spectrum analyzers, RF service monitors, electronic test and measurement tools, communications test sets and power tools
• Excellent computer skills required with ability to program, trouble shoot and/or perform system diagnostics on complex communication systems
Skills/Knowledge Required:
• Military experience in communications or similar field is highly desirable
• Two-year degree in electronics field is highly desirable
• Significant travel is required of >50% of year as typical deployment on a project will be 2-3 weeks at a time
• Must be able to lift 80 pounds
• Must have clean driving record and be able to clear a background and drug screen
